QREON is currently planning a trade fair stand for HUSUM Wind 2019 in order to present the successful implementation of QREON system solutions to the expert audience from the wind power industry at the industry’s most important trade fair and to further expand the international sales and installation network. We will publish more precise details on this page in May 2019.
QREON is currently planning a trade fair stand for INTERSOLAR 2019 in Munich in order to present the successful implementation of QREON system solutions to the expert audience from the solar power industry at the industry’s most important trade fair and to further expand the international sales and installation network.
QREON has already constructed and successfully commissioned a Q82 wind turbine with an energy storage system in Baden-Wuerttemberg. It comes as no surprise, then, that QREON wanted to present its own system technologies – along with the reference project near Stuttgart – to interested electrical engineers, energy providers and many other experts at the largest national trade fair for electrical engineering and electronics in Germany. At ELTEFA in Stuttgart, from 20 to 22 March 2019, at stand 10A71.

Winning the German Renewable Award in the category “Product Innovation of the Year 2014” was a hugely proud achievement and played a part in kick-starting certain company activities.
The innovation prize is awarded every year by the EEHH renewable energy cluster in Hamburg. QREON won out against 8 other competitors in the category “Product Innovation of the Year”. The reason for the jury’s decision was this:
“Even in abnormal grid and wind conditions, wind turbines can be controlled autonomously by the integrated battery storage system. The system by QREON therefore expands the possibilities of remote monitoring and control. The product is worthy of the prize because it is an intelligent detailed solution that makes renewable energies more flexible with little outlay and also turns it into a more productive component of the energy system. The refinement of storage technologies and their application options are also crucial to the success of renewable technologies.”
QREON GmbH was given funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union within the scope of Schleswig-Holstein’s Zukunftsprogramm Wirtschaft (ZPW, Future Economy Programme) in the field of “Innovations in Businesses”. Around €662.3 million flowed into the ZPW between 2007 and 2013 in order to support the economy and regional politics in Schleswig-Holstein, €374 million of which came from the ERDF, €208 million from the joint federal/state scheme “Improving the regional economic structure” (GRW), and roughly €80.3 million from additional regional state funds.
